With its original architecture, where stone blends with steel, wood, and glass, Bercy Village is built on the site of Bercy’s old cellars and warehouses. Listed as historic monuments in 1986, for more than a century, this site held the largest wine market in the world.
Bercy Village, built for pedestrians, is a neighborhood that is worth the visit. It is the perfect spot to take a break away from the traffic and stress of the city.
At Bercy Village, you will feel like you’ve left Paris. You will feel like you’re in a small village with a country air. It is a nice place to walk around: lively and animated, it promises relaxation and a total change of scenery compared to the capital’s major shopping centers.
